The Challenge

As the Credit Manager, the role will work very closely with the Transactional Finance Manager and CFO to ensure the business receives a clear and transparent view of debtor recovery performance for the Australian business. It is a true process improvement role which will allow you to partner closely with all areas of the business. It is expected you will work very closely with your direct reports within the credit team to ensure an improved performance across the national business. This is a brilliant opportunity for a credit expert who wants to make decisions quickly and be part of a leadership team delivering on a clear strategic plan. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the end-to-end debtor recovery function for the Australian business
  • Providing leadership to a direct team of 4 and an indirect team of 8
  • Reviewing and improving the existing credit policies and procedures while ensuring they are complied with in an accurate and timely manner
  • Preparing monthly reports for the national business and supporting the broader finance function with cash-flow forecasting
  • Building strong working relationships with the key executives across the group while continuing to train and develop your existing team

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • Experience leading a Credit or Accounts Receivable team in a large corporate environment. Professional services experience will be viewed favourably
  • A demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines
  • You will have intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong negotiation qualities
  • You will have a strong understanding of commercial debt recovery and litigation practices
