The Challenge

This presents an ideal role for a junior payroll professional looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader, your responsibilities will include and not be limited too: 

  • Assisting with running the payroll; 
  • Entering new starters, leavers and terminations; 
  • Processing superannuation payments;
  • Calculating leave balances, accruals etc;
  • Award interpretation;
  • Timesheet entry; 
  • Updating employee details;
  • Responding to employee enquiries via phone and email

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • A desire to develop a career in payroll;
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of payroll. This may have been gained through 1 – 4 years experience as a Payroll Officer, or from Payroll forming part of your previous role; 
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
