The Opportunity
Join a leading Australian business and partner with operations to drive growth across one of its fastest growing divisions. Working closely with senior operational leaders, you will become a trusted commercial advisor, helping shape customer pricing, evaluate new business opportunities and improve financial performance across an expanding business unit. The Challenge
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Partner with Operations to improve financial performance across a rapidly growing logistics division
- Evaluate new customer opportunities through commercial modelling, pricing and business case analysis
- Deliver meaningful financial insights, KPI reporting and performance analysis to support decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the division
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements
- Analyse operational costs, profitability and key business drivers to identify growth opportunities
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Collaborate with senior operational stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and commercial outcomes
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA/CPA qualified with experience in management accounting, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience within a complex or operational business.
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence decision making through insightful financial analysis.
- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders to improve performance, profitability and business outcomes.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, automation and challenging the status quo.
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion or similar ERP/reporting systems will be highly regarded.
