The Opportunity
Our client is a high-growth, privately backed business operating in a dynamic and evolving market. With ambitious growth plans and continued investment across the organisation, the business is strengthening its finance function to provide greater commercial insight and support strategic decision making.

They are seeking an FP&A Manager to play a key role in building and leading the FP&A function. This is a newly created, high-impact position offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, shape financial planning and provide insights that directly influence business performance and growth.

This role would be suitable for a first mover coming from Big 4 Transactions, Deals, Corporate Finance or similar backgrounds who are looking to make their a move into a commercial FP&A leadership role. 

The Challenge
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting across all business units
• Own the monthly management reporting cycle, providing clear analysis and insights into business performance
• Develop and maintain financial models
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand key business drivers 
• Analyse revenue, margin, cost and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Prepare financial analysis and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
• Establish and enhance FP&A processes, reporting frameworks and financial models as the function continues to mature
• Identify opportunities to improve financial visibility, planning and decision making across the organisation
• Present findings, recommendations and commercial insights to senior leadership

The Expertise
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• CA qualification
• 5–8 years’ experience across FP&A, commercial finance, transaction services, corporate finance or a similar environment
• Strong technical capability across budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and communicate key business drivers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
