The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join a leading Australian property investment group in a Treasury Analyst role. This position sits within a growing and high performing finance function and provides broad exposure to treasury and debt management across a diverse property funds management platform. The position offers a highly varied and fast paced environment, hands-on exposure to live facilities and real transactions from day one, and the chance to build a long term career in treasury and corporate finance within a collaborative organisation.
The Challenge
Reporting to the CFO, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support day-to-day treasury operations across the group, including maintaining and updating debt models across fund vehicles and managing hedging instruments
- Deliver month-end processes, including bank reconciliations, preparation of cash reports, and bank fee analysis
- Monitor covenant positions, flag headroom issues, and track upcoming test dates
- Support lender reporting, drawdowns, and compliance certificate preparation, along with BAU lender correspondence
- Contribute to the debt procurement process, including information memorandums, term sheet review, and financial close support
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of treasury management systems, processes, and controls
- Provide ad hoc treasury support for transactions and capital events
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Achieved or actively working towards being CA/CPA qualified
- You are a finance professional with experience in a treasury, debt, or credit role – whether in banking, funds management, or corporate finance
- A strong understanding of treasury operations within a property or funds management environment, seeking to grow in a highly varied and fast paced environment
- Preferred exposure to cash management, debt facilities, or hedging instruments (such as interest rate swaps or caps)
- Strong commercial acumen, with a high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem solving skills
