The Opportunity
The business is a successful property developer and investment manager with an excellent reputation in their space. They source and execute highly complex transactions, alongside private and institutional investors, focussed on Australian property.
Due to steady growth, the business has the opportunity to hire a newly created Investment Analyst and play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities, supporting acquisition processes and delivery high-quality financial modelling for property development and project delivery processes.

The business has a lean but growing, high-performing and dynamic team who are highly commercial and work truly collaboratively together to support the next stage of growth.
The Challenge
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build, maintain, and optimise detailed feasibility models to assess project viability
- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and cash flow forecasting to support decision‑making
- Prepare financial models for development projects, acquisitions, and joint‑venture structures
- Ensure modelling outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with internal investment criteria
- Assist in preparing equity/debt drawdowns, board papers, and investment committee presentations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate assumptions
- Track project performance against feasibility assumptions and highlight variances
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- A first mover from Big 4 Deal Advisory, Strategy & Transactions and/or Financial Advisory at the Experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant level with demonstrated strong proficiency in financial modelling is strongly preferred
- CFA/ CA/CFPA part-qualified or similar
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in building financial/scenario models that may cover acquisitions, funding, existing project performance
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial outputs
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights
