The Opportunity

Our client is an industry leader and a top ASX 30 organisation with a Melbourne head office. Growing and profitable, they are a pioneer within their industry and a clear leader, both nationally and globally. 

Focused on continual improvement and best practice, this position will play a key role managing the group statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting process. 

If you are a Senior Analyst/Senior Accountant Accountant at PWC, KPMG, Deloitte or EY or have started your career in the graduate program of a leading ASX 200, this organisation has built a reputation for been a genuine platform in promoting career progression and development.

The Challenge

Work with the executives across the division to ensure the business receives a clear and transparent view of performance. In this key role, you will be responsible for the production of financial and operational results and detailed financial analysis. 

Specifically you will be involved in delivering the following: 

• Group statutory reporting
• Group budgeting and forecasting process involving partnering with cross functional finance and non-finance executives;
• Production of P&L reporting and working with General Manager and Head of to lead and influence integrated and cross functional monthly decision-making forums
• Review month end management expense reporting and provide meaningful analysis and commentary on results / plans / forecasts highlighting drivers of performance, opportunities, risks and implications for the outlook period
• Act as the 2IC finance support to key stakeholders, principally the Finance Business Partner & General Manager, acting as a trusted advisor, business partner and strategy consultant within the business whilst maintaining financial governance and accountability

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Possibly, you are a CA working at KPMG, EY, PwC or Deloitte, BDO, GT or RSM with a total of 3-4 years experience’ 
• Strong commercial acumen that has most likely been developed working on engagements in a leading ASX listed company
• The interpersonal skills to mix it up with key executives in operations whilst also having the ability to present at the highest level in a global environment
