The Opportunity

Our client is a growing, reputable manufacturing business located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Given they are a family run business, they have developed a tight knit finance team, and have emphasis on creating an inclusive and rewarding working environment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to start immediately and on a 12 month fixed-term contract. They are offering free onsite parking and are located in the Eastern suburbs. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing overdue accounts via phone and email
  • Investigating customer payment issues to ensure timely receipt of funds
  • Raising invoices
  • Performing reconciliations
  • Allocating payments and banking
  • Maintaining the client database
  • Providing excellent customer service

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an accounts function
  • Ideally, you will have a tertiary degree or a certificate in accounting 
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team
  • High attention to detail
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferably, you will have experience using Pronto
