The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a large retail business that has consistently grown its revenues. Currently, with 150 stores across Australia and with turnover around the $150M mark, they have expansion plans in place both domestically and internationally. They are regarded as market leaders within their niche and are being led by an impressive executive team who have been driving the business forward. To accommodate this growth, they are investing heavily in their accounting function and creating new roles. The role will work as part of a close-knit team reporting into the Finance Manager.

The Challenge

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your duties will include the following;

• Ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices
• Bank and supplier reconciliations
• Receipting & allocation of payments
• Ensuring the ledgers are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports;
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process;
• Performing balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations;
• Reconciling bank accounts daily;
• Assisting the broader finance team

The Expertise

Please consider applying for this position if you possess the following:

• 3-5+ years end to end experience in AP, AR or a broader accounting role
• Exposure to a large ERP system
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess high attention to detail
