The Opportunity 

Our client has grown to be one of Australia’s best know consumer products providers. They are a large ASX listed business that is recognised in their field of specialisation globally. Having received funding due to consistent growth, they are investing in their finance department and are looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst.
This position to suit someone with high attention to detail, excellent communication and analytical skills and the ambition for career development. 

The Challenge 

The successful candidate will be working closely with the General Manager of Supply Chain, General Manager of Sales and have high visibility to the CFO and other senior executives. 

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

• Providing financial, commercial analysis and project management support
• Business case preparation
• Analyse and report freight
• Analyse supplier performance
• Analysis of customer profitability
• Preparation of presentations to support project analysis
• Engagement with other key executives including the CFO and Commercial team to discuss project results as necessary

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following;

• Advanced excel and modelling skills 
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar analytical role
• Ability to combine an analytical mindset and commercial acumen to share key data with non-data like stakeholders 
• Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
