Credit and Collections Supervisor | $80,000 + super | South East Location

The Opportunity

Our client is one of Australia’s most reputable consumer goods business with an impressive portfolio of growing stores across Australia and The Pacific. The business has been on an impressive growth trajectory and is expanding both in Melbourne and overseas. They are looking to hire a bright nimble Credit/Collections Supervisor who may or may not have supervised a team in their previous role. And as such, they are looking to hire an experienced Credit/Collections specialist to join the team. Although initially, you will be working from home, their offices are easily accessible by public transport and provide other perks.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will be playing a key role in supervising the credit/collections team, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and their accounts while supervising a team of 6 
• Processing and allocation of invoices, credits, and payments
• Weekly and monthly reconciliations
• Complying with credit policies and procedures
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external customers
• Developing improved collections processes across the group
• Liaising with international stakeholders across the head office and divisional offices nationally to grow internal and external relationships

 The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You have 3-5 years in a Credit Control or Collections role and have aspirations to supervise a team. Ideally, you have experienced in a large FMCG or Retail business while using SAP. Furthermore, you have a track record of working under pressure and have experience working remotely.
