The Opportunity

Our client is one of Australia’s most well known ASX businesses with a growing global presence. With a market capitalisation of over $1bn, they are seeking a finance business analyst to work closely with the divisional finance, IT and group finance teams. The main purpose of the position is to research, assess and establish a new enterprise planning & insights solution that will align with business needs. 

The Challenge

This is a newly created position to provide commercial insights and integration support within this well known ASX organisation. You will report directly to the Business Insights Lead while representing the corporate finance function on a daily basis.

Specifically your responsibilities will include: 

    • Identifying and developing consistent and more effective reporting suites, dashboards and analytical tools 
    • Partnering with each business unit to design, plan, enhance the adoption of a new planning and analytics solution 
    • Advising and educating stakeholders through knowledge sharing on best business practices for relevant business insights and reports 
    • Planning and preparing strategies that will provide scalable solutions for current and long-term business needs

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in a similar business/planning analyst role, sitting within finance 
  • Proven experience developing financial models, commercial insights and implementing a data visualisation tool
  • Previous experience using Power BI or similar tool is a non negotiable  
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
