The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a financial accountant to join a successful retail business that has consistently grown its revenues both locally and is looking to expand internationally. They are regarded as market leaders within their niche and are being led by an impressive executive team that have been driving the business forward. As the organisation progress through a busy period they are looking for extra support to assist with half year end tasks.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be playing a key role in supporting the financial accounting team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing month end accounting tasks to ensure the timely reporting of all financial information
• Monthly variance analysis and budgeting support
• CAPEX Analysis 
• Managing fixed assets
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing and reconciling weekly inter-company transactions
• Preparing the appropriate financial reports for the business

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Pursuing or having completed your CA/CPA qualification 
• Possibly have had experience in a large, multinational retail business
• Operational knowledge of SAP
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
