The Opportunity

Our client is an industry leader and a top ASX 200 organisation with a Melbourne head office. Growing and profitable, they have a reputation for being at the forefront of their respective industry.

Focused on continual improvement and best practice, this newly created position will play a key role managing the group reporting (internal and external) function

The Challenge
  
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be involved in delivering the following;

  • Oversee the month-end reporting timeline and month-end process at a global level
  • Management and delivery of the statutory reporting requirements
  • Review P&L report, analyse month-to-month variances and assist with ongoing management reporting
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis including deep dives with an aim to provide richer insights
  • Ongoing development and improvement of reporting templates, tools and processes to ensure consistent and efficient reporting
  • Take a lead role in an upcoming system implementation, and manage the operational implementation of the new accounting standards  

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • Possibly, you are a CA working in a top-tier chartered firm with 7-10 years’ experience, are working in business services/ corporate tax with an ASX listed client base, and are at Senior Manager/ Associate Director level
  • Possibly, you are a CA who has worked in a top chartered firm, possibly in audit
  • You are a CA/CPA with a strong reporting skill-set that has most likely been developed in a leading top ASX, ideally sitting in a group level role
  • The interpersonal skills to mix it up with key executives in operations whilst also having the ability to present at the highest level in a global environment
