The Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing, privately owned business in the beauty and supplements sector. Over the past five years, the company has gone from strength to strength, with significant growth culminating in a doubling of headcount in the last 12 months. This role is ideal for a CA or CPA qualified accountant with 3–4 years of experience who is looking for a broad, hands-on position with exposure across all areas of finance and accounting.  

The Challenge

Reporting to Head of Finance, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure general ledger accuracy
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Partner with department leaders to support variance analysis and deliver financial insights
• Assist with BAS preparation and other tax-related reporting
• Collaborate with the other accountant to manage payroll, as well as aspects of accounts payable and receivable
• Support external audit and compliance activities
• Contribute to the ongoing optimisation and improvement of the NetSuite ERP system

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualification with strong appetite for growth with an interest in a fast paced changing business
• Sound technical accounting knowledge, ideally gained within a chartered firm (Audit, Assurance or CFO Advisory)
• Strong communication skills and a team player
