The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with some billing or accounts receivable experience in the health sector to join a leading NFP. In a team of 8, our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can develop with the organisation as it continues to grow.

Our client will be conducting interview through the rest of 2024 and early 2025, in person or over Teams/Zoom.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Billing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Accounts receivable functions, including receipting and reconciliation of payments, maintenance, and recovery of outstanding debtors.
• Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
• Manage effective credit control levels and maintaining systems
• Prepare and complete invoicing activities
• Assist with on-line claims to Medicare, DVA and Private Health Insurance funds and resolving billing exceptions and /or errors.
• Relieve other staff within the team as required.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 0-3+ years’ relevant experience, coming from accounts receivable, credit and/or billings. Health sector highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through building and developing productive and collaborative working relationships
