The Opportunity
  
This is an opportunity for a experienced Accounts Payable professional to join an established business in the manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will join a close-knit finance team and take full ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payment-related queries and supplier master data.
  
This role would suit someone who wants ownership of the Accounts Payable function, with the opportunity over time to build exposure to Accounts Receivable and broader finance activities.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable transactions, including supplier reconciliations and query resolution
• Preparing customer invoices and credit notes, allocating cash and following up outstanding balances
• Maintaining supplier and customer master data
• Administering corporate credit card processes
• Responding to supplier, customer and internal finance queries
• Supporting month-end activities, audit and tax requests, and general finance reporting
• Providing general finance and administrative support to the broader team

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with an interest in improving existing processes
