The Opportunity
Our client is a leading infrastructure company with a global presence. Founded over 15 years ago, they are continuing to embark on their growth journey and have created an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer with 2+ years experience who is looking to make their next career move with a leading business.

The Challenge
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

End-to-end accounts payable, including processing and paying high-volume and multi-currency transactions
Verifying and investigating discrepancies through reconciling vendor accounts and statements
Creating and managing supplier contact cards
Reconciliations of the accounts payable ledger
Raising POs in a timely manner, including coding and classification accuracy
Accurately accounting for GST on invoices ensuring compliance around GST classification
Generating reports detailing accounts payables status
Responsibility for month end balance sheet reconciliations for aged payables and assisting with month end journals as required

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

2+ years, high-volume Accounts Payable experience
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
High level of organisational and planning skills
