The Opportunity
Our client is a leading infrastructure company with a global presence. Founded over 15 years ago, they are continuing to embark on their growth journey and have created an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer with 2+ years experience who is looking to make their next career move with a leading business.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- End-to-end accounts payable, including processing and paying high-volume and multi-currency transactions
- Verifying and investigating discrepancies through reconciling vendor accounts and statements
- Creating and managing supplier contact cards
- Reconciliations of the accounts payable ledger
- Raising POs in a timely manner, including coding and classification accuracy
- Accurately accounting for GST on invoices ensuring compliance around GST classification
- Generating reports detailing accounts payables status
- Responsibility for month end balance sheet reconciliations for aged payables and assisting with month end journals as required
The Expertise

- 2+ years, high-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of organisational and planning skills
