The Opportunity

This role presents an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a global retailer in January 2025. Please note, all applications will be reviewed from January 6th. 

This is a newly created role due to the strong growth trajectory of the business. Ideally you will have end-to-end AP experience, as well as exposure to international transactions. The successful applicant will be well supported in a friendly, close-knit team who value company culture, based in Melbourne’s North-Western suburbs. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing 
• Processing supplier invoices to ensure they are entered accurately in the relevant systems 
• Processing complex foreign currency transactions  
• Reconciling supplier statements as part of month-end 
• Managing the monthly payments 
• Reconciling and processing the monthly statements 
• Managing the AP inbox queries 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in end to end Accounts Payable 
• SAP or large ERP systems experience will be looked upon favourably, but is not a requirement 
• Available for a January 2025 start 
• Multi currency AP experience will be viewed very favourably
