The Opportunity
Our client is a prominent law firm offering a wide range of legal expertise, including in areas such as corporate and commercial law, litigation, property, employment, and more. The firm is recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and has a strong reputation here in Melbourne.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is interested in managing the entire payables function in a highly professional space. This role is based in a stunning central CBD office with the team typically attending the office four days with one day work from home.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing data entry and processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Managing a high volume of invoices, approximately 80-100 daily
- Assisting with end of month reporting, trust accounting and administrative duties
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve any invoicing queries
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc accounts related tasks
The Expertise
