The Opportunity

The Challenge

Reporting to the AP Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Actively looking for ways to build relationships with suppliers
• Ensure the timely payment of all invoices 
• Reconcile supplier statements regularly and take proactive actions to resolve issues arising
• Understand where all invoices and supporting information is saved and ensure it is organised
• Understand the controls in place to ensure correct supplier invoice payments and enhance these where required
• Setting up suppliers in the ERP and complete credit applications

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You will have 2+ years experience working in a high volume AP capacity, either in an AP Officer role or in a broader Accounts Officer role
• Accounting qualification or equivalent
• MS Office skills with intermediate or advanced excel skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a high complex environment
