The Opportunity

Our client is a leading Australian infrastructure organisation with a strong national presence and continued growth trajectory. As they continue to invest in their finance function, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable professional to take ownership of a critical AR division for the group. The role will handle a complex multi-entity portfolio, requiring strong stakeholder management. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys a broad role combining collections leadership, stakeholder management, process improvement and operational ownership.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes across a diverse portfolio of accounts
  • Ensuring accurate month-end AR close, reconciliations and reporting
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Track specific KPIs and variances
  • Preparing AR reporting and providing key performance insights
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and automation within AR

The Expertise

To be considered for this role, you will bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience within Accounts Receivable, Credit or Collections environments
  • Proven experience managing complex debtor portfolios
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly regarded 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across a business
  • A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
