The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for a proactive and adaptable accounts all-rounder or part-qualified accountant to join a large wholesaler with a global head office. You will commence on an initial 6-month contract to provide upcoming leave cover with view to permanency. An immediate start is preferred. 

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable while supporting broader finance operations. You may be part-qualified and eager to expand your skill set, with opportunities to take on additional tasks, including month-end duties. 

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processing 
• Managing finance queries inbox  
• Supporting with month-end journals and reconciliations  
• Providing support to the wider finance team as required 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 2-4 years’ experience in a similar broad accounts role
• Great interpersonal skills and highly proficient written skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail 
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines 
• Flexible and adaptable in a growing environment
