The Opportunity
Highly awarded within the manufacturing industry, our client is a leading Australian company with a broad network of customers across the country. An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. 

This role is well-suited to an Assistant Accountant with 2-4 years’ experience and part-CPA qualified. Prior experience with an ERP system and Power BI report writing skills will be highly regarded. 

The Challenge
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager; some of your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for accounting functions for associated companies
• Weekly and month end processing 
• Posting journals and reconciling Balance Sheets accounts
• Reconciliations of intercompany transactions 
• Analyse costs and overheads, providing analysis on key variances
• Assist with preparation and analysis of weekly business results 
• Participate in system integration projects

The Expertise 
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA/CPA qualified or working towards attaining it. 
• Ideally, you are working in a mid/large business as an Assistant Accountant or you may be a Junior/Grad Accountant looking to step up. 
• Advanced Excel Skills with exposure to an ERP system
• BI report writing skills would be favourable 
• A sound knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reporting, management reporting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• You must have full working rights
