The Opportunity
Our client is a leading listed healthcare business who have recorded impressive growth over the past 10 years. They are recognised as having a supportive company culture which enables strong tenure and long-term development within the business. They offer generous working from home flexibility and genuinely care about the wellbeing of their employees.
This is the perfect opportunity for a part-qualified CA or CPA with 1-2 years of experience in the Big 4/Mid-Tier to join a growing, profitable ASX business. You may also have 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant at another large ASX or large privately owned company.
The Challenge
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to timely and precise month-end closings.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting by posting month-end journals.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support audit processes with external auditors.
- Handle reporting duties to meet deadlines effectively.
- Manage cash flow by reconciling multiple bank accounts.
- Intercompany transactions and invoicing.
- Review and process supplier invoices efficiently.
- Learn IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Engage in diverse ad hoc projects and tasks.
The Expertise

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in accounting
- You may be working towards your CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Organised with the ability to prioritise, identify processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal
