The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant who values variety in their role to join a highly reputable and successful property group, providing financial and administrative support to manage the personal and business affairs of its’ prominent business owner. This is an exciting role in a team of 3 that will be responsible for the financial reporting for a range of investment classes including property and financial instruments.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Assisting with preparation of monthly financial reconciliations, and end of month tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliations
Assisting with preparation of year-end financial statements
Assisting with preparation of tax compliance.
Assisting with budgeting & forecasting process.
Assisting with external and internal audits and supporting the implementation of any audit recommendations, as required
Adhoc system administration and process improvements

The Expertise

Please consider applying for the role if you have;

1-2 years accounting experience and are possibly in the process of completing a CA/CPA
A strong ambition to advance your accounting career within the property sector and the dynamic world of investments
Great interpersonal & organisational skills to work in a fast paced, complex and dynamic business.
