The Opportunity

As the Commercial Analyst in a fixed term arrangement, this is a key role within the commercial team and involves delivering commercial analysis and recommendations, interpreting financial data and providing quantitative reports for the operations team contributing to key commercial decision-making.  

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and high-performance division, being the largest of the group who are willing to provide the support and professional development and drive your career forward. You will be partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive performance of the segment you will look after.

Other key responsibilities include: 

• Analysis of commercial reports across sales and marketing including prospective new business 
• Sales margin and revenue performance analysis
• Support the annual budget process
• Prepare presentation reports for key stakeholders 
• Driving continuous improvement of management and financial reporting 

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce with a major in accounting/ finance 
• CA/CPA qualified
• 4-5 years experience in a large corporate environment in a  management accounting and/ or business partnering role either at a group or divisional level or you may have commenced your career in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm looking to steer your career down a commercial pathway and are available to commence immediately
• Candidates who are on Working Holiday Visas are welcome to apply 
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• High level of initiative, a forward-thinking attitude and motivated to develop your skillset by partnering with commercial and operational stakeholders in-person
