The Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to join a growing privately owned business in the energy sector. The Finance Analyst sits within the tightknit finance team and takes on broad responsibilities across financial analysis and modelling, financial accounting, and power BI reporting. 
  
The Challenge

Reporting to Financial Controller, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and analysing profit and loss and balance sheet positions prior to the monthly close
• Deliver operational reporting to support all departments, identifying and providing insight on cost, productivity and trends.
• Recommend changes to processes and systems based on data analysis findings to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build capability in each department to enable reporting tools to be utilised in a self-service manner.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualification with strong appetite for growth with an interest in the energy sector 
• Sound technical accounting knowledge, ideally gained within a reputable chartered firm (Audit, Assurance or CFO Advisory)
• Highly proficient with Excel-based modelling and Power BI reporting. 
• Strong communication skills and a team player
