The Opportunity

Situated within a highly dynamic industry our client is a market leader possessing an incredible brand and envious employment EVP. A dominant and innovative market leader this highly profitable group have a reputation for being at the forefront of their industry through superior product innovation, strategy and marketing.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial finance professional with 5-8 years experience and is immediately available to start wanting to be intimately involved in all commercial aspects of the business and work closely with the executive leadership team.

The Challenge

Work with the senior executives across business units and group to ensure the business receives a clear and transparent view of performance whilst ensuring the group is receiving commercial decision support services to enable superior commercial decisions. 

Specifically, you will be involved in delivering the following: 

• Provide strategic insight, influence and consultation through a deep understanding of portfolio key drivers of value and ability to see and articulate opportunity costs / risk
• Annual budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Supporting the management of the long range strategic planning process
• Co-ordinate, manage, deliver and present the business plan including strategic initiative overlays
• Production of P&L reporting and working with ELT and Heads of to lead and influence integrated and cross functional monthly decision-making forums
• Support the ELT and Head of Planning on numerous strategic growth and investment projects

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified (ideally from PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG) with superior commercial acumen, coupled with commercial partnering experience that has most likely been developed in a dynamic business
• Ideally, you have worked in a strategic group planning role or as a commercial business partner supporting product, customer, marketing or sales functions
• Advanced financial modelling skills coupled with outstanding presentation skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills to partner and influence key non-finance executives
• This is a highly commercial opportunity where the incumbent will have full P+L exposure. Experience in a similar position in a dynamic, fast paced organisation will be critical to your success
