The Opportunity

The business is an industry leader who have an impressive history of recent growth through acquisition. They pride themselves on their collaborative culture with a focus on employee development. This opportunity would be responsible for leading a team of accountants at a group level.

The Challenge
  
Reporting directly to the GM Finance, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and develop a team of three accountants
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial and management reports 
• Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with the development of the Annual Budget
• Undertake Profit & Loss review and analysis for during the month-end period, including accrual reviews, variance analysis and the provision of commentary on key performance drivers
• Building sound relationships with the business unit finance leaders
• Drive business improvements, system enhancements, and process optimisations across the finance function
• Oversee a Payroll Manager and team

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You have 5-7 years’ experience in a medium to large business environment in a similar role
• CA/CPA qualification
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
• Leadership experience
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work both autonomously and as a team
