The Opportunity

Our client is a well-known ASX-listed organisation with operations across Australia and internationally. They are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst or Finance Manager to join the Corporate Finance team on an initial 4-6 month contract. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the external audit process while supporting a range of financial reporting, FP&A, governance and process improvement initiatives.

Due to year-end, we are seeking commencement within 1-2 weeks. The team are currently considering their structure and expect to have permanent headcount, therefore the role is an excellent foot in the door with a well-known ASX.

The Challenge

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating the external audit process across the Group
• Acting as the key liaison between auditors and internal finance stakeholders
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting requirements
• Assisting with technical accounting papers and accounting policy documentation
• Driving improvements to finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks
• Supporting governance initiatives and finance transformation projects
• Preparing reporting and updates for senior finance leadership
• Working closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A and international finance team

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years’ experience in financial reporting, audit or corporate finance
• Previous experience managing or coordinating external audits
• Experience within an ASX-listed or large complex organisation will be highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability
• Highly organised the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
