The Opportunity
A unique opportunity to join a prominent, privately-owned property group. With a strong project pipeline and significant assets under management, the business is well-regarded for its long-term vision and values-led culture.
Reporting to Senior Finance Manager you’ll mentor a capable Financial Accountant while partnering closely with Development Managers to deliver insightful project reporting, monitor performance against budget, and support funding and scenario modelling. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy CA with property and professional services experience, offering broad scope, direct access to high-calibre entrepreneurial stakeholders, and genuine opportunities for growth, impact, and innovation.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with the business you responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate financial records for all development projects, ensuring general ledger integrity and oversight of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets, feasibility models, and business plans.
- Update and maintain project feasibility models throughout the development lifecycle
- Partner with Development Managers and project teams to provide real-time financial insight and performance analysis.
- Support funding processes
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- It’s preferable that you will have gained significant experience working within a first or second tier accounting firm where you have worked predominantly within the business services function.
- CA qualification.
- Strong financial reporting and analysis capability, with an understanding of development feasibilities and project financial management.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
- Use of property development feasibility tools highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
