The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial finance professional to join a large, well-known and profitable consumer products business.  Culturally, the business is considered an employer of choice due to its great internal culture and exceptional training and development.  The business is looking for a talented finance professional with a skill-set that combines financial modelling, revenue and cost analysis and commercial business support.

The Challenge

Reporting to the GM Finance, you will take a proactive role in identifying new opportunities to improve revenue and reduce costs, assessing project financial outcomes and benchmarking operational performance.  

Specifically your responsibilities will include: 

• Provide monthly management reporting, including variance analysis, commentary and insights to the IT Executive team and CIO.
• Support the development, quantification and execution of the IT 3-year strategic plan.
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, including operational and capital expenditure.
• Compile accurate and timely forecast updates, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Oversee the financial aspects of IT project management, including tracking project costs, benefits realisation, and post-implementation reviews.
• Provide commercial rigour to business case development and contract negotiations.
• Assist with ad-hoc business reporting to drive decision making

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA / CPA qualified and 7-8 years of post qualification experience in industry, ideally in a large corporate
• You possess extensive experience in finance business partnering with other operating divisions in a business 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present to Senior Executives both finance and non-finance stakeholders effectively
• Experience of partnering with a tech division will be looked upon very favourably
