The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance/ FP&A Manager to join a highly successful firm. Our client has established itself as a genuine leader in their industry and have invested in growing their finance team. This is one of several newly created positions and focuses on commercial finance support, finance business partnering, treasury oversight, client and management reporting, and operational governance.

The Challenge

Reporting to GM Finance, your responsibilities

• Partner with practice groups, partners, and senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, financial analysis, and decision support.
• Support firm‑wide and practice‑level budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
• Assist partners in understanding financial outcomes, budget impacts, and operational levers.
• Provide oversight of the Finance Service Desk, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent support to partners, PAs, and fee‑earners.
• Oversee cost management processes, including review and approval of expenditure in line with firm policies and delegations
• Act as the primary operational interface between the Finance function and the Finance Systems / IT teams.
• Support delivery of management reporting to partners and firm leadership.
• Support department heads in managing costs and understanding budget impacts.
• Oversee treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and funding requirements.

The Expertise

• CA/ CPA Qualification
• Ability to be hands on with proven experience driving financial performance across a team oriented environment
• Superior financial reporting and FP&A skills
• Experience leading a high perfoming team
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
