The Opportunity

Our client is a premier real estate private equity firm specialising in identifying and acquiring high-quality real estate opportunities.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management and play a significant role in shaping the financial strategy of their firm.

Ideally you are at the Manager level at EY, PwC, Deloitte or KPMG with a Real Estate, Funds Management or Private Equity portfolio. Alternatively, you are at the Accountant / Senior Accountant level with a large, complex real estate business in a group/corporate accounting capacity.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include: 

• Preparation of accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Managing cash flow, investments, and capital allocation strategies to optimize financial performance across the organisation
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure financial targets are met and aligned with the company’s objectives
• Working closely with senior management to formulate strategic initiatives that support overall business objectives, including identifying opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement
• Identifying areas for improvement in financial systems and processes to support better decision-making and operational efficiency
• Identifying performance trends and risk areas 
• Business partner with key executives across the business
• Developing strategic plans for the business 
• Deal support and ad hoc projects 

The Expertise 

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Ideally you are at the Manager / Senior Manager level at EY, PwC, Deloitte or KPMG with a Real Estate, Funds Management or Private Equity portfolio
• Alternatively, you are at the Accountant / Senior Accountant level with a large, complex real estate business in a group/corporate accounting capacity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to form and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
