The Opportunity

Our client, a leading consumer products business is seeking a high-performing finance manager, to join their team. As Finance Manager you will work within at a Group level within the business, reporting through to the Financial Controller and overseeing a team of 3. You will be part of a driven team that is moving the business forward and enabling increased efficiency and effectiveness.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead and effectively manage the Financial Accounting team  
• Delivery of month end general ledger close  
• Ensure that all required journals and accounting processes are completed accurately and timely for month end/half-year and year end close reporting
• Responsible for collating and providing documentation to the external auditor for the half-year review and year-end audit process
• Assist with the monthly / annual / periodic reporting requirements
• Support the Financial Accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks
• Support business unit commercial/operations teams
• Assisting with budget and forecast submissions for balance sheet and cash flow

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are a CA/ CPA with 6-10 years’ experience working within a large complex business.
• Ideally you are Big 4 audit trained and have made a successful transition into a technically orientated position in a large corporate 
• You have gained superior financial and statutory reporting experience
• You will be a strong communicator and have proven experience leading high performing teams
