The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Accountant to play a crucial role in designing, streamlining and implementing best practice finance processes to support the growth of the company. An exciting and broad role that will continue to assume additional responsibilities as the company expands. This position includes funds management, acting as a close business partner to support commercial decision making. 

The Challenge 

Reporting to the CFO and supporting the CEO, COO and other key stakeholders in the business, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation and maintenance of accurate financial reports for each of the trusts within the company’s portfolio
• Prepare monthly trust journals to reflect debt, intercompany transfers, distributions, prepayment and accrual adjustments
• Assist with providing budgets and financial planning support for the ELT and Board
• Business partnering with relevant operational stakeholders including Asset and Trust Management teams 
• Management and monitoring of ongoing cash flow requirements
• Continual improvements to the financial reporting frameworks and models

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Possibly, you have completed a few years within a professional services firm, looking to make your first move within industry and have gained gained experience working with property, funds management, family office or mid size growing private organisations.
• You could also have developed your career working within a related property or private business as an accountant and now looking to take the next step in your career.
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to suit a close-knit stable team environment with a warm, open and engaging style.
• Demonstrate a commercial mindset with the ability to analyse financial information and actively support key business growth initiatives.
