The Opportunity

With a global footprint and ambitious growth plans, the organisation is investing heavily in systems, automation and finance transformation, creating an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in financial reporting, audit, compliance and process improvement activities while contributing to major finance projects, including ERP implementation and the integration of AI-driven tools into the finance function.

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with an impressive senior leadership team while contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The Challenge
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting 
• Preparing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Supporting external audit processes and compliance requirements
• Assisting with the development and enhancement of accounting policies and internal controls
• Contributing to ERP implementation, testing and system improvement projects
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives, automation projects and the integration of AI tools within finance processes
• Partnering with stakeholders across sales, marketing and operations to improve reporting and business performance

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
• 3-5 years’ experience gained within Big 4, a leading mid-tier firm or a commercial accounting environment
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience working with AASB/IFRS reporting frameworks
• A genuine interest in systems, process improvement, automation and technology
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
• A hands-on, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
