The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded, international architecture and design business in a newly created Financial Controller position. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will take ownership of financial controllership in time and play an important role in transforming and modernising the broader finance function.

This position is ideally suited to someone who enjoys operating across both the technical and commercial sides of finance. You will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the business while driving improvements to systems, reporting, controls and processes.

The Challenge

As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in strengthening the finance function and supporting the continued growth of the business. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Leading financial operations across multiple international entities
• Driving improvements across finance systems, processes, controls and reporting
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Managing cash flow, working capital, treasury and foreign exchange requirements
• Leading finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Improving the quality, consistency and integrity of financial information
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial analysis and financial insight
• Supporting financial modelling, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making
• Helping build a scalable, efficient and high-performing global finance function

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA, CPA or equivalently qualified
• You have strong transformation and change management experience within a mid sized growing businesses. 
• You have demonstrated experience improving finance processes, systems, controls or reporting
• Experience within a multinational or multi-entity environment will be looked upon favourably
• You are commercially minded and confident partnering with senior stakeholders
• You have a proactive, hands-on approach and enjoy working in an evolving environment where you can drive meaningful change
