The Opportunity

Our client is a large, complex, multinational business in the Property sector. This is an excellent role for a CA from Business Services/Audit with 4-6 years of experience to make a first move into a commercial industry accounting role. This role is best described as an entry-level business partnering role. The company is a widely recognised brand with a strong accounting function and the Head of Finance is CA qualified.

The Challenge

As part of this role you will be required to provide accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis which will enable the business to make strategic operational decisions.  Your main responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare monthly financial statements, conduct reconciliations, and ensure adherence to statutory and legislative requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Develop annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and produce accurate forecasts.
• Reporting & Performance Analysis – Generate management reports, analyze historical data, and deliver financial insights to executives.
• Month-End & General Ledger – Oversee month-end close, journal adjustments, and ledger reconciliations.
• Accounts & Taxation – Manage creditor invoices, authorize financial documents, and ensure ATO tax compliance.
• Financial Advisory & Coordination – Provide strategic financial guidance, support managers with revenue/expense analysis, and uphold ethical standards.

The Expertise

We are keen to speak with people who have the following skillset:

• Completed, or be close to completing, a CA/CPA while working in a Business Services/Audit firm
• 4-6 years of experience post-graduation
• High levels of initiative with a proactive, forward-thinking attitude
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with non-financial stakeholders
• Desire to grow your career in a recognised, complex multinational
