The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established ASX-listed financial services group. This is an exciting FP&A Manager opportunity suited to a commercially minded finance professional who is looking to step into a high-impact role within a dynamic, evolving environment. You will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver insightful analysis, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. The role offers broad exposure across the business, providing an excellent platform to further develop your commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.
The Challenge
Playing a key role in the finance function and reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible but not be limited to the following:
- Establish and lead the FP&A function, building frameworks, processes, and reporting capabilities from the ground up
- Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycles, delivering accurate and timely financial plans
- Partner closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance, investment opportunities, and key initiatives
- Deliver insightful management reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, and actionable recommendations
- Drive continuous improvement across financial planning processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA/CPA qualified with approx. 5–8 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to lead and shape the FP&A function and influence business outcomes
- Ability to take initiative and operate autonomously, with a proactive approach to driving insights and continuous improvement
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience across planning tools and systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across finance and non-finance teams
