The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Global Payroll Manager to join on a permanent, full-time basis in a fully remote role. In this standalone position, you’ll take ownership of a growing payroll function across Australia and the US.
We’re looking for a strong corporate professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders globally. Alongside BAU, you’ll play a key role in supporting an ADP system implementation, driving process improvements and payroll best practice.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery across all global entities through external payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with local tax, superannuation, and employment regulations
- Support US payroll processing and reporting requirements
- Prepare reconciliations, reporting, and audit documentation as required
- Support the ADP system implementation, including testing, data validation, and process transition
- Drive process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency, particularly in alignment with the new system
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in payroll management, preferably within a multi-entity or international organisation
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and working knowledge of US payroll requirements
- Experience managing outsourced payroll providers and vendor relationships (ADP experience is essential)
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, and internal controls
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Full Australian working rights
