The Opportunity

Our client is a highly regarded large and growing company that employs over 5,000 people globally. They are known widely for their positive impact across some of Australia’s most important primary industries. We are seeking an Accountant to commence as an permanent, full-time employee.

The Challenge

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of daily inventory/stock position reports (APEX).
• Preparation and posting of various standing monthly journals to SAP.
• Completion of fixed assets tasks such capitalisation of new assets; run monthly depreciation expense and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
• Review and posting of operational cost accruals
• Assist in reconciliation of credit card expenditure and transfer of information from the credit card system to GL.
• Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, including P&L transactions and confirmation of details with inter-company counterparties.
• Completion of allocated monthly balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparation of month-end financial reports and annual budgets.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA / CPA qualified or part qualified with relevant experience – this may have been gained in industry or a Chartered environment dealing with large, complex multinational businesses.
• Experience in a related industry – logistics, supply chain, FMCG or agriculture is nice to have
• Most of all – you’re a strong all-rounder with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
