The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and leading PE-backed company. This role will work closely with a highly regarded CFO and will be influential in helping the business on the next phase of their growth trajectory.
You’ll take ownership of the Group’s financial reporting, month-end close, financial control and consolidation activities across a large multi-site operation. Leading a team of three direct reports and partnering closely with operational and finance stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting the continued growth of the business. 

The Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes across the Group.
• Manage the preparation and review of consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and operating locations.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, board reporting packs and financial commentary.
• Lead and develop a team of three direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring and performance management.
• Ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls.
• Manage statutory reporting requirements and coordinate external audit activities.
• Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, controls and finance systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with operational leaders and senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision making.

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA / CPA qualified with ideally healthcare industry, multi-site, services or PE-backed business experience.
• Strong financial reporting, consolidation and month-end close experience within a medium to large organisation.
• Prior experience leading and developing finance team members.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial controls and governance.
• Ability to work at both a strategic and hands-on operational level.
• Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Curiosity, a high degree of commercial acumen, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
