The Opportunity
An established and evolving ASX-listed organisation is seeking a Group FP&A Manager in a 12 month fixed term contract, with the view for permanency. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this position will join the business in a key leadership capacity and act as a senior finance business partner across multiple functions, driving performance through planning, insight, and analysis.
This is a high-impact opportunity to support the business during a period of strategic growth and transformation. You’ll play a lead role in performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning — combining strong financial acumen with data-driven insights to influence key commercial decisions.
The Challenge
As Group FP&A Manager, your broad remit will include:
- Managing and executing the planning and budgeting process across key segments, including the annual budget cycle and quarterly forecast cadence
- Supporting and managing the development and enhancement of the mid-term forecasting tool, with a focus on value drivers and long-range ambition.
- Developing and managing performance reporting frameworks, including KPIs and key metrics
- Coordinating monthly performance reviews and supporting strategic insight for executive stakeholders
- Delivering board-level reporting and supporting ASX compliance requirements
- Analysing large and complex data sets, leveraging BI tools to generate commercial insights
- Partnering with corporate and operational teams to improve analysis and accountability
- Supporting scenario modelling, investment analysis, and strategic planning projects
- Leading initiatives to improve reporting processes, tools, and data capability
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
The Expertise
To be successful in this critical role, you will bring the following:
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation, ideally ASX listed, with corporate exposure.
- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analytics
- Strong data analytics capability and experience working with BI tools such as Power BI and TM1
- Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of forecasting methodologies and value driver models.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across both Finance and Operations.
- CA or CPA qualification with relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business
