The Opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join a successful private Group of companies with ambitions to double their revenue over the next 5 years, via acquisitions and organic growth. The role is ideally suited to a strategic and commercially astute senior Finance executive, who can bring broad experience to the position.  
  
The role is Number 1 in Finance, reporting directly to the CEO and providing runway to grow into the CFO position as your career grows. The Challenge

Reporting to the CEO, key responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic financial guidance, including cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting
• Delivering critical financial analysis to management and the board to support key business decisions 
• Enhancing financial reporting and compliance, including responsibility for board executive secretarial and administration
• Strengthening internal controls and improving operational efficiency within the finance department and overall HR
• Building stakeholder confidence through transparent financial communication
• Driving integration between strategic planning and financial operations
• Post M&A integrations of financial accounting systems and processes
• Leading and mentoring a small finance team, ensuring accurate and timely accounting functions

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualification with 10+ years’ experience at a senior leadership level
• Advanced computer and ERP knowledge – Netsuite or similar
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementation or integration projects & implementing new initiatives
• Outstanding commercial acumen, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach, and the ability to contribute to the future direction of the business
• Experience in a similar sized company, $50M or less, with international operations would be advantageous
