The Opportunity
An established and rapidly expanding technology business is seeking a Head of FP&A to join during an exciting period of international growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created position will build and lead the FP&A function, providing financial insight, modelling, and analysis to shape strategic decision-making across the organisation.
This is a hands-on and highly visible role partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You’ll be instrumental in creating scalable forecasting models, improving reporting capability, and driving a data-led culture that supports the company’s continued growth trajectory.
The Challenge
As Head of FP&A, your broad remit will include:
- Establishing and developing the FP&A capability for the business
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling across multiple departments
- Building companywide forecasting models and management reporting frameworks
- Delivering clear and insightful board and executive reporting
- Partnering with department heads to influence commercial decisions and drive profitability
- Providing financial guidance on pricing, product launches, and go-to-market strategy
- Developing dynamic models to support investment analysis and long-term planning
- Analysing key SaaS metrics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insight
- Building and mentoring a small, high-performing team as the function matures
The Expertise
To be successful in this critical role, you will bring the following:
- CA/CPA qualification and tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 7+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
- Exposure to SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business models
- Strong financial modelling skills and BI capability
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, and growth mindset
