The Opportunity

The Challenge
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Month-end reporting activities, including timely and accurate general ledger close and balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, WIP schedules and cash flow projections.
- Be involved in project accounting duties, including job costing, progress claims, retention tracking and contract billing.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes
- Manage tax compliance, including BAS and other tax-related reporting, while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Support the finance team by continually driving and implementing process improvement initiatives.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- You are working towards your CA or CPA qualifications, or keen to start in the near future
- 2-4 years’ experience – ideally in a Business Services team at a Mid Tier firm. Alternatively, you may be already working in an industry financial accounting role at a growing business looking for the logical next step.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are excited by small but fast growing environments working towards a common goal together.
- You will be driven to progress your career in a growing corporate.
