The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, large-scale FMCG business with a strong national presence and a reputation for product quality and innovation.

Reporting to the Customer & Supplier Data Lead, this role will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity and consistency of customer and supplier data across the organisation. You will manage day-to-day data requests while ensuring information is maintained in line with established standards, business rules and governance requirements.

Working closely with the Master Data team and stakeholders across Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing and Pricing Operations, you will also contribute to broader transformation and automation initiatives.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Customer & Supplier Lead, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer and supplier master data workflows, including reviewing and validating change requests
• Ensuring data is accurate, complete and maintained in line with business rules, governance policies and approval processes
• Resolving data issues and monitoring data quality metrics and exception reporting
• Maintaining appropriate controls and supporting internal audit requirements
• Educating stakeholders on master data processes and requirements
• Identifying process improvements and supporting automation, system enhancements and broader transformation initiatives

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• 3-5 years’ experience in master data management, ideally within a large FMCG or corporate environment
• Experience managing customer and supplier master data
• Strong knowledge of master data governance, controls and approval processes
• Experience using a large ERP system, such as SAP or M3
• Demonstrated process improvement experience
• Strong Excel skills, with Power BI experience highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage data accurately
• Confidence working with stakeholders across Finance, IT and other business functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
