The Opportunity
  
Our client is a well-established, large-scale FMCG business with a strong national presence and a reputation for product quality and innovation.
  
Reporting to the Master Data Lead, this role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and consistency of material data across the organisation. You will help maintain data standards, governance frameworks and business rules while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and reduce risk.
  
Working closely with the Master Data team and stakeholders across Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing and Pricing Operations, you will also contribute to broader transformation and automation initiatives.
  
  
The Challenge
  
Reporting to the Master Data Lead, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining material data standards, governance and business rules
• Oversee Master Data Management processes
• Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and consistency of material data
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
• Managing complex material data queries and resolving issues
• Monitoring data quality metrics and exception reporting
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, IT and other business functions
• Supporting automation, system enhancements and transformation projects

  
The Expertise
  
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of Master Data Management and data governance
• Experience using a large ERP system, such as SAP
• Process improvement experience
• Power BI experience is highly desirable
• Great attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
